Autumn Alicia Reeser was born on September 21, 1980, in La Jolla, California. She fell in love with musical theater when she was 6 years old and kept with it until she was 17. She left for Los Angeles after graduating high school to study at UCLA.

In 2001, she earned her first bit part in Startrek: Voyager and she later appeared on MTV’s Undressed, but she was still an unknown face in the acting world. The following years, however, saw Autumn appearing on more high-profile television shows like George Lopez in 2002, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in 2003 and Cold Case in 2004.

The teen drama was already a big hit for two years before Autumn joined, and thanks to its huge fan base, her face and name became instantly recognizable.
Her O.C. fame even earned her a sexy lingerie-clad spread in the March 2006 issue of Maxim magazine, in which she was also named the 57th most beautiful woman in the world. And she was given a coveted spot on the December 2006 cover of Stuff magazine, along with a sexy photo spread inside the glossy pages.
Remarking on how things changed for her since The O.C., she said, “[The people who approach me] are so nice. I thought people might throw sodas at me because I was mean to Summer. There is always a risk in playing the villain, but they usually say they are glad I am on the show.”
